Well, I suppose if you whip out the Mother Of All Zip Ties you had better 
use rings of an appropriate size, too.

I will tell you what, if you have huge zip ties, why aren't you using 
them to attach your anchor to your chain? Hell, anchors are expensive and 
deserve the best attachment you can use. So throw out that stupid, 
fragile, crappy old shackle and use your super duper zip ties there, Capt.
