Mailing List: techdiver

I expected that this list would be an intelligent discussion amongst a
COMMUNITY that is based on a shared interest, that interest being
DIVING. BOY WAS I WRONG. Instead, I have had the displeasure of signing
on to a list full of people with pre-kindergarten mentalities. There is
no sense of community here, I wonder what you people would do if you
happened to be on the same dock for a few moments, or the same boat, or
whatever. I don't care how many of you have been diving since before I
was born, the only message that I get from most of you is that you are
trying to say "my dick is bigger than so and so's dick" and you all end
up sounding like a bunch of spoiled kids who don't dive enough to come
up with anything more interesting.

What is the purpose of this group anyways, is it to share ideas,
knowledge, and experience with other divers so that we may come away
with information we wouldn't otherwise have? Or, is the purpose to have
a totally disorganized discussion about who is the bigger asshole? Hmmm,
let's think about that.
