I would like to invite everyone to join us in the #SCUBADIVING channel on IRC. If you are familiar with the chat rooms on some web pages, this is nothing like that. IRC networks have about 75,000 people on them, from all over the world at any given moment, in different channels. (This is just refering to dalnet,effnet,euronet,undernet,etc) With rooms concerning any topic you can think of. We have started up a room on irc.dal.net called #SCUBADIVING We allow you to talk about anything, unlike some channels that will kick you for talking about technical diving, etc. Or kinda snub you, if you are not in their own little "clic" group of friends. You can download MIRC and get info on it, and the VAST and unlimited subjects that is available to you on IRC (internet relay Chat) by going to http://www.mirc.co.uk and downloading a copy of MIRC We have been scheduling a regular meeting at 9PM eastern time, every night, but it seems that more people are showing up around 5:30 Eastern Time. But, the room is open 24 hours a day, and if you go in and sit for a few min, good chance someown will be there, and if you are lucky (and we can get enough of you to go there) there might be a large group! Say goodbye to the little web chat rooms, and come explore IRC where there are over 75,000 people online all the time, from all over the world, LIVE!
