There are at least two different grades of helium available in the UK
which are certified as suitable for diving, namely '3.7' or minimum 99.97%
helium, and '4.5' or minimum 99.995% helium.

Question is, what are the practical differences (apart from cost)? Is
there a maximum recommended depth / ppHe for 3.7? What do people use/ what
is available around the world?

For the record, I have always ordered/ used 4.5, but have had 3.7
delivered by mistake on one occasion recently.
