this is something i had posted on aol and thouht i might get the info if i was looking for here,if my theory on the output press of the inflator hose is true why wouldnt bondage wings be 'safe' ,primarly i dive single hp120 w/30ft pony,but im thinking about doubles in the future,thanks. lets think about how the 1st stage supplys air to the second stage,im not sure if this is correct but here it goes,on a balanced reg,doesnt the 1st stage supply air to the 2nd stage at approx.140 psi.above the pressure that is being put on the diaphram by the water surrounding it? if so wouldnt this thought work,if the intermediate press of 140psi.is enough to inflate the bladder at the surface with 14.7psi against the reg.,why wouldnt it be enough to inflate it at 99' . if the 1st stage ups the intermediate of 140psi.to 198.8psi.(due to the water pressure against the diaphram)and the wings see the pressure increase also you should still have a 140 psi supply to the wings,right? -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
