Yes, people make mistakes.  That's why they always need to have a dive
buddy - one who understands all that that term implies - so that the
mistakes you make don't kill you.

I'm sorry - I thought that never diving alone was the first rule
people were taught - yet 90% of the people on this list seem to think
nothing of it.

Well, I sincerely hope your good fortune holds - because that's all
it's been.
