I bought a set of the basic force fins when I purchased my dry suit. Otherwise I would have needed a set of XXL blades due to the size of the dry suit boot. The XXL blades looked to be over about half as tall as I am (I'm just over 6'2"). The glossy in the store basically says they are a more efficient not more powerful fin (power being a measure of energy expended). They look strange but I like them. I wouldn't throw out a good set of blades just to be a little more efficient though.
