Hans, remember most people are using steel tanks that are negative even when empty. Unless you use aluminum's you don't need that much weight. Your personal body weight is still a factor but I use steel 120s IM 5'11" and weigh 160 using a full drysuit and all the heavy bulky underwear with extra to keep my skinny ass warm and I wear six pounds. Sometimes I think it may still be a bit much. You need to keep into perspective what tanks you are talking about. If you are using steels the weight requirements are much less than you are listing.
