Christalmight, what a story. I hereby nominate Wrolf to be the East Coast Poster Boy for Fucked Up, Convoluted, Kamakazi Diving Rigs. And for runner-ups I would like to nominate Capt. Hank Garvin, Capt. Janet Bieser, and the crew of the Wahoo for a) letting Wrolf on their boat with that rig and b) letting Wrolf dive off their boat with that rig. You guys need to draw a line somewhere. This tale of misadventure is the best indictment of independent doubles I have seen yet, among other things. Wrolf, where did you get your training, from Diver Dan comic books? How come you do not know how to recover from a feet first ascent? Why would you jump in deep water without knowing precisely what your buoyancy situation is? Thats suicidal. Now if you had been under IANTD instruction we all would have understood, but you were alone, right? Don't you square away all your gear before you go on a dive? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Learn About Trimix At http://www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/trimix.html -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
