Don Black Memorial Event

Since learning of the death of our good friend and dive buddy, Don
Black, we have been trying to cope with his untimely passing and like
many of you, feel a need to gather to share our loss.

 In honor of Don's memory, we have arranged with Mike Ward to hold a
memorial event on Sunday May 31 at Ward Sink to remember and
celebrate the life and dives of our good friend and dive buddy.  If
you wish to dive, the normal dives fees will be in effect.  At the
present time the Ward family has closed the sink to diving, but Mike
has said that he would make an exception in this case.   Please
remember that the reason for attending is to say goodbye to a friend.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

This will be an all day event so feel free to bring food and
beverages along with your memories, photos and stories of what Don
meant to you and how he touched your life.
At 11:00 we will hold the type of service we feel that Don would
agree with, then spend the next hours telling diving tales .

Since Don was very active in many forms of conservation, we are in
the process of coordinating with the NACD to set up a Memorial
Conservation Fund in Don's name.  If you can not attend the event but
would like to send a contribution to the fund, please contact Michael
