If you want *really* cheap, check out the oxyhacker web site (I don't remember the URL, sorry). As of a few months ago, they were saying they were writing a book on how to build a $100 o2-clean booster. The only catch is that it is human-powered, but I think they were planning on plans for an electrically powered one in the book. Anybody know the URL and if the book is out yet? Hand pumping isn't a bad alternative for rebreathers, where you're usually only dealing with a dozen cubic feet of gas, and the thing is portable as hell.
