Subject: Spring Conditions - Suwannee Karst
Good news today:

Peacock Spring I, et.al.: Nice! Vis is super and mosquitos are
quickly disappearing.

Ginnie/Devil's Eye - Crystal clear.

Little River Spring - Kicking! 60' vis and clearing quickly.
All roads are bone dry.

Telford - No, but clearing. Vis about 30 ft. Ready in about a
week or two.

Troy Spring - Not yet. Small patch of clear water in center
of headpool. Boiling like all other resurgences - this one a
first magnitude.
Our boat charters for O/W divers will resume in two weeks.

Cow Spring - Yes!

Royal Spring - Yes!

All others except Otter are clear and diveable. Rock Bluff
Spring, we think, would be an excellent choice for the
sidemount boys.

The Ichetucknee is clear and tubing/snorkeling has commenced
en masse. Go early to avoid the crowd.

The Artifact Hunters have arrived and are working as we post.
The Santa Fe has 20 ft vis and clearing. The Suwannee River
continues to recede - current vis about 8 ft. We may see
40 to 50 ft vis in this one this summer.

Looks like excellent diving conditions for the area......just
in time for the NSS-CDS Workshop next week.

Rumor has it that Steamboat recently added another Ingersoll
20 to the rockcrusher pile......bringing CFM ability to 60.
Right behind, you, Billy! :) D.
