Define your "reliable source", or is this just scuttle butt?

just thought i'd share this.i just heard from a very reliable source
that the state of florida department of environmental protection parks and
recreation decided yesterday that in the aftermath of preventable fatalities
they were not going to accept any iantd certification cards for diving in
any of the florida state parks.this means the iantd eanx cave card is
worthless if youre trying to dive at peacock or manatee.
my source also informs me that ginnie springs will probably adopt the
same policy, however for a nominal fee you will be able to get a waiver by
doing a checkout dive with one of the ginnie springs staff but that you
would have to pay about $100 for the checkout dive and an additional $50
for the ginnie springs waiver which is valid for one year. - dick
