Bonjour Ian and Barb! There is a replacement battery you can get from Electrosonic ( located near Victoria Park and Gordon Baker in Scarborough ). Some people have reported however that this battery does not have the same life cycle as the Uwatec one. Also, keep in mind to be very careful when removing the cap. I do not think you can acquire it by itself. A new cap, new O-ring, a new battery and a piece of solder comes bundled in the battery replacement kit. I have one of the Electrosonic batteries at home. I used to help National Watersports (when they encountered difficulties replacing the batteries) a long time ago when they were the canadian distributor for the Aladins )If you have further difficulty locating the battery, let me know and I will look up the brand and model number. See you in the silt!
