For those of you in the Missouri area. Medical Grade O2 will no longer be available without a prescription unless you are a Doctor, Dentist, or Veterinarian. AirGas, a popular distributor, has informed me that as of this month, they are now required by the FDA and the Missouri Division of Pharmacology to limit the dispensing of Med O2 unless any of the aformentioned criterion have been met. In speaking with the safety control officers and an Airgas manager, they've been subjected to extensive record keeping inspections, gas lot recordings, State and Federal fingerprinting, licensing, personnel documentation, etc., with the advent of the new restrictions. I really couldn't believe it and I am still looking into the matter. On a side note, if you have a good relationship with your vendor, you can probably get the Aviators grade for the same price. Prices will be going up, however. -------Jason -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
