A quick (rough) calculation: Say you use about 15 liters(?) of Argon in your suit and want to dive to 100 m; 15 x (100/10 ) = 150 liters If you have a 2 litre Argon bottle; 150/2 = 75 bar (net. consumption) Add 10 bar since you are at 100m and 10 bar for the first stage (MP); 75 + 10 + 10 = 95 bar i.e. fill your bottle to at least 150 bars.... -bjorn- ---------- | From: shimell@se*.co* | To: Michael.Waldbrenner@wa*.de*; techdiver@aquanaut.com | Subject: RE: Argon consumption | Date: 24. Twin Steel 12.5s and 10.4 Ali stages. Wing for | buoyancy, but put a bit more in the suit on the shallow deco stops. | | David Shimell | Project Manager, Sequent Computer Systems Ltd., Weybridge, UK | Email: shimell@se*.co* | | -- | Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. | Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'. | -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
