At least there are somethings we agree on!It causes great stress to
Capt.,Divemaster, and Instructors to be in this perdicerment,we do not get the
much needed numbers to split the trips as this I feel is caused by the
harse conditions which is my point.

To admit we have no current I cannot. But to say you overall have a stronger
current I will concede that much. But I will name 2 wrecks that many will
jump in back me up that compare to current you have. The Monitor and the
E.M.Clark both are in Hatteras,N.C. the Monitor 240ft dsw which has eluded
me twice(had to work and U.S.Navy cancelled our permit)The E.M.Clark 260ft
dsw the wreck is almost clean of marine growth as it is sandblasted by the
current I have dove this wreck and there was not much that day so it was
not challageing. But I heard when it is undiveable.

>The deep wreck dives in Fort Lauderdale/Pompano have very moderate or small

Has Jim Mimms, you,or anybody from Ocean Diving dove the 2 wrecks I mintoned
or the much more harse Andrea Doria? You all may think different if you did
or will you let your ego get in the way?

>Florida has far more than its share of horrifically
>bad divers. This is one of the things we are trying to address on the tech
>list.

This is my very point we have our own bad divers,it is this talking between
two divers with the skill and the diving experence that other divers may
read our post and be better prepared for diving in each others state!

>I already mention the Ocean Diving boat, you need to call Jim Mimms. If you
>want to do WPB, you will need to get a hold of me or George to organize a
>charter---we know the boats, and it will have to be a full boat charter,
>since they don't like to mix tech and rec together. I always use pure O2
>for 20 and 10 foot stops.

I may contact you should I come down and others may come with me is this an
offer to show me the dives that I want to do?

>Over 40 Spanish galleons can be found on the shallow 15 to 20 foot reef
>along the coast of WPB. I have photos of some. You have to recognize ballast
>stones, and cannon shapes. But this is treasure diving NOT tech diving.

this is what pisses most artifact divers off,you think its about depth you
are wrong the divers will come and be happy at 15 t0 20 ft to find a piece
of history but like most charter opertions down there you go were the boat
takes you and they go to the bank with our money.

>>So what does all this mean it means that you
>>don't know about all the east coast your hardly an expert in your own area.

>Funny, I though it meant that you did your research, the way many NE divers
>rig their gear----badly. :-)

This is were you open mouth insert foot again(don't feel bad we all do
it)what you really meant was not NE divers but me,but you see I bet we rig
exactly the same way "Hogarthian".If you don't ya'll be a stroke.:-)

Respond with your post as soon you want but I may not respond for over a
week as I and the group will be preparing for the up coming dive I will
give you details when we return if they (quicksilver) let me.
