Hi all, I just got my new Halcyon 15# wings from Fed Ex. _Thanks_, Brownies, for getting those up to me so _fast_!!!! These wings are _SO_ cool they make me wish I didn't already have perfectly good Seatec wings for doubles.....When they say "Built Right, up to the smallest detail", they're not kidding! I don't have to make any adjustments to these wings to make them ready to dive. No shoulder dump to disconnect. (Well, I wouldn't have purchased them if there was...) No little ball thingy on the auxillary dump to take off. There are even inner tube strips on the corrugated hose! The corrugated hose is attached at both ends by cable ties, which are protected by super HD rubber tubing. There is a retainer (strain relief webbing) for the corrugated hose which I guess will keep it in position over your left shoulder at all times and also protect the connection from strain. The mouthpiece can be swiveled either way, so depending on which way you like it, you can inflate with either your thumb or your hand! Cool!!!!! Who ever thought of such a thing? I _hate it_ when I get new wings and the inflator isn't the way I'm used to. There's a really substantial carrying strap, which is part of reinforcing webbing (backbone) running down the back, where the grommets are. You could actually lift a tank with this! The wings are made of 1000 denier Cordura, which looks to be more or less indestructible, and there is an extra layer of it at the top of the wings to protect against abrasion. I got these wings because I do still dive a single tank on occasion, and I just can't use a BCD anymore after getting accustomed to a backplate/harness/wings setup. I never _really_ had an air-trapping problem with the Seatec wings, just thought I'd like less drag and a more streamlined profile. So anyway, this isn't meant to sound like a commercial, or anything, I'm just _really_ happy with the construction and features of this wing, (I hadn't seen it before I bought it) and thought anyone in the market for new wings oughtta take a look at what Halcyon has....
