Lets see, If I wear a dry suit with good insulation underneath, I'll be
fairly warm. Yeah, this cold water could be a real problem. I guess those
guys who do ice dives must be real supermen ( I did ice dives back in the
mid seventies in Lake Erie, near Buffalo----this was FAR from challenging).

So you think the Labrodour cuurent is the REAL Deal, and our Gulfstream and
Newfoundland combo, complete with reverse shear 50 feet from the bottom is
nothing. Wake up. Our current is MUCH bigger than your current (Grin) , but
seriously, ours is to big to hang clipped off on a line connected to the
bottom----we have a drift diving proceedure, even for wreck dives. I'd like
to see you guys clipped off in a 5 mph current <grin>.

Until you experience this yourself you will not

Hopefully we will check this out in early summer. It should be fun.
