Carry all the gear you can't afford to lose in carryon. EVERYTHING you check should have BIG cable ties on very possible opening. I have found this system to work for the following reasons: 1- I can't lose the stuff that ruins my vaca (i.e., regs and computers). 2- I am not susceptible to baggage handling thieves as they see the cable tied bag and leave it alone. Since thye usually go for the quick rummage theft approach they are stymied. This method has no protection against theft of the whole bag. Good luck and enjoy. -----Original Message----- From: Judah69 <Judah69@ao*.co*> To: techdiver@aquanaut.com <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Date: Sunday, March 08, 1998 7:54 PM Subject: Traveling with your dive gear, questions >Ok so I'm about to embark on my first real dive trip away from New England. >I'm off to belize and am taking my dive gear (no tanks or weight) and my >camera and housing.
