It seems that from the feed back from my last post, the guestion of old age came up.So all you guys that beat up the overweight diver tell me at what age does a diver become to old to dive?I'm a fit 40,look 28,act like 20,and when I dive with a group I don't ask a diver what he weighs or how old he is.If he puts on a set of doubles and a deco bottle in 5ft seaes after a 30 mile run and tells me to get out of his way I think he's fit.I'm not a doctor and I'm not given physcials at the dock.So tell me at what age and weight a diver hits so when you hit that age we can remind you to tell yourself to stop diving.Diving is fun thats why most of us started and I think alot of you forgot. And everybody has been a stroke by their own standards early in their diving, but Strive to dive better, safer, longer, deeper, without busting on everyone, offer knowledge with facts not beliefs.More divers will listen then. What about the 65 old diver that just bit it,was he too old?Maybe so but I bet he didn't think so,will you think your too old at 65?
