Disclamer:  For me, in my diving situation, diving manifolds is not an
option.  Given the choice, I would prefer manifolds, but I am not given
the choice.  I do not want to discuss the pros and cons of independents
here.  If you really want to know why I don't use manifolds I will go into
it in another thread. 

I am wondering if anyone has who dives independent doubles has solved the
following problem.  What do you do with the long hose, when breathing off
the short hose?  The long hose just seems to get in the way when switching
regs, and when storing it when not in use.  As a temproary solution, I
have gone with two short hoses.
