You forgot to allow for regulator dropout when the tank pressure drops below the intermediate pressure over ambient. This takes 250 psi out of the equation. Also, an aluminum 80 only holds 77.4 CF. He's about 4 minutes to OOA. He does, however, have enough gas to ascend directly at 60 ft/min to 15 fsw and do a 10 minute safety stop. I don't have an "Extreme Exposure" table handy, so I can't tell you what the mandatory deco for a 250 fsw dive will be, but I strongly doubt there are any profiles that have him at 245 fsw long enough to suck down 1800 psi from an 80 and still let him get home with just 10 minutes deco at 15 fsw. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
