Greg Re-read my post: see if you can answer a or b. try one or the other. But in the meantime... Listen Greg, I know it is quite difficult, but try to get your facts straight. Mako scooters are rated less than 160 ft. I think its more like 130. Yet Greg, the motor seal is rated for 250 psi which is like 17 ATA, like 528 feet. Obviously we have no idea what we are doing with these scooters, since we have only been able to get 2 1/2 miles back at about 300 feet, and Brent has only been 14,000 feet back . I guess we need the help of a true rocket-scientist (Maytag repairman) such as yourself, so why don't you come down here and show us how to build good scooters and how to dive them. The Team would appreciate you efforts as it has been a long time since we have had a really good laugh. > ---------- > > From: Greg Zambeck <gzambeck@us*.ne*> > > To: pete wallace <hpetew@gt*.ne*> > > Subject: Re: Georges comments on myself being a moron > > Date: Tuesday, January 27, 1998 6:26 PM > > > > Pete the issue is does George test his scooters to the specifications he > > claims they will go. > > He has already stated that he doesn't. > > He has already stated that he had a whole shipment of motors that were > bad. > > The customer (Tom Mount) was doing the product testing. > > The motor for this unit is only rated for 160 ft. by MAKO. > > He should be using a motor that is rated for the depth of the product > > specifications.---------- ---------- > From: Greg Zambeck <gzambeck@us*.ne*> > To: Cavers Mail List <cavers@ww*.ge*.co*> > Cc: Tech Diver Mail <techdiver@aquanaut.com> > Subject: Fw: Georges comments on myself being a moron > Date: Tuesday, January 27, 1998 6:28 PM > > > > ---------- > > From: Greg Zambeck <gzambeck@us*.ne*> > > To: pete wallace <hpetew@gt*.ne*> > > Subject: Re: Georges comments on myself being a moron > > Date: Tuesday, January 27, 1998 6:26 PM > > > > Pete the issue is does George test his scooters to the specifications he > > claims they will go. > > He has already stated that he doesn't. > > He has already stated that he had a whole shipment of motors that were > bad. > > The customer (Tom Mount) was doing the product testing. > > The motor for this unit is only rated for 160 ft. by MAKO. > > He should be using a motor that is rated for the depth of the product > > specifications.---------- > > > From: pete wallace <hpetew@gt*.ne*> > > > To: Greg Zambeck <gzambeck@us*.ne*> > > > Subject: Re: Georges comments on myself being a moron > > > Date: Thursday, January 15, 1998 10:26 PM > > > > > > Greg, the questions are: > > > > > > a: show me other record holding scooters > > > b: if you know of infallible scooters let us know > > > > > > when you've done that we will move on to other topics. > > > -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
