Double Manifolded 72s (2x10L. very close comparison) are very common in Italy, and I think around the Mediterranean. They are made by Faber, Have a common boot that is taller then usual, and keeps the tanks toghether. They have Din Valves with a manifold, you can have an isolator, but usually have none. No metal bands are used to keep them togheter, the boot and the manifold are strong enough. They are attached to a normal BCD with long cam-bands. I'm sure you can have them with metal bands and screws if you want. They have been them around for 30 years, and I never seen / heard of any major leaking or problem. I have also single 18L. / 127s with double din valve, and with a little overpressure can give me about the same gas as the normal double 72s. I say normal tanks rated to 200bar/ 3000 psi, because the newer coming out from Faber are in the 250-300bar 3750/4500 psi. Valve thread is 25x2mm or variuos others threads. they come O2 clean with green valve knobs if you want.
