I got two of the first re-released Tritons in the UK a couple of years back. After suffering several times from a free flowing second stage - including on replacement regs - I sent them back and got my money back. The free flow was not a result of cold water and according to the set up all the interstage pressures were set correctly. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole any more. I know other people who have had the same problem, yet others who love them and have never had any problems. I haven't seen in the dive shops for a while but whether this is because it has been withfrawn or just not bought anymore I don't know. Try giving Brian a ring at UWI Circle in Alton - he's the UK distributor and should be able to tell you. I now use Scubapro G250 on a Mk20 first stage for main regs and the Mk20 with ultra light regs for stages. Mainly got the ultra lights to reduce weight when flying.
