Well done Chuck. I figgered someone would get it. Doncha think Pirsig
would have made a good cave diver? The more I get into that book I can't
help but wonder if he maybe wasn't one of Bill Main's influences.....

    Actually, I never did get through the whole book for lack of patience.
I guess I waited till I was too old to read it so that I had already been
through most of that 
stuff in my own head by that time.    
    Yes he would have been an excellent cave diver and he may well have been
an influence on Bill.    This book was big when I was in high school about 35
years ago but I was too busy with girls to read it then.    Guess I�m a late
bloomer.
