Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for info on plumbing 
double tanks.

Several were concerned about the attitude of trying to get the cheapest 
setup. I wholeheartedly agree, this is life support equipment and not to 
be scrimped on. If I don't want to invest in the best equipment, then I 
won't do this type of diving. I merely wanted to make the best use of my 
existing equipment, and to avoid throwing money away on unnecessary 
equipment.

Many interesting and helpful points were made.

Thanks again, there is a real wealth of knowledge on this list.
