Tom, >> There are a lot of bored people out there. > Could I be one of them?!?! Oh, I think that every now and then we are all one of them ! Look at George, he misses Zamback something terrible and he's only been gone a few days. It leaves George having to hunt when the prey doesn't come to him and it makes him mean. I thought for sure I would draw some heat for something to do about those bondage wings but he apparently found more worthy and entertaining prey in Steve. So, like a wildebeast, releived at the opportunity for another few days of life while at the same time appauled and shaken at the violence of his comrad's noble encounter with the beast, I return to grazing as does the rest of the herd - all stepping lightly around the kill site where the lions still paw and chew on the carcas. The hyenas can be heard skulking and complaining in the near distance waiting with the vultures for whatever scraps might be left. Life is good ! For now ! Been dealing with so much e-mail lately I didn't even notice what went to the list and what did not. Your review prompts fuzzy memories of the natural buffering actions of the blood chemistry and I remember, now, the nodes in the aorta. It's always a relief to have one of you take my amaturish musings and turn them from a waste of bandwith into useful information. Thanks for the input on the subject - I look forward to the oxtox insights. Chuck Boone -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
