If this was directed at me I belong to a SAR team thus the diving with
AGAs and com gear. Although i find it much more comfortable than a
regular mask under the ice this is a personal preferance and not a
requirement. I also use an argon inflation system with my drysuit.
this is also personal preferance. I find that i am alot warmer in a
drysuit than in my 7MM wetsuit and thus more comfortable and able to
dive in a more relaxed less stressed way. I can dive in a regular mask
and wetsuit but when the gear and training are available to make the
dive more comfortabel why not take advantage of them as long as safety
is not compromised.
