Subject: Re: No hints, No rebreathers
Senor Amigo, you can come take your pick out of my garage: they work,
they are for sale. You can have the Halcyon, the Halcyon 2, the Ocean
version, the Cave version, or just an off-the-shelf version. These
rebreathers hold the records for cave diving, along with Olivier
Isler's, and we all use them for whatever we want to do with no hassle.
Brownies has several in stock, I see them being used on Erol's boat all
of the time, and Bill Mee, Robert Carmichael, Errol and I, Brent, JJ,
Joey, Paul, Tom Mount and others have had them for a long time, as in a
couple of years. I am on my third one.

I have never aborted a rebreather dive on this thing even in the
development stage, and have never had a problem that was not solvable
underwater with no disrutpiopn to the dive. I can fix it myself, and it
always works. I know exactly how much gas I am going to use, and can
plan incredible cave dives with it at any depth. The deco is the same as
for open circuit, and it allows any gas to be used.

It is the simplest , easiest rebreather to use, and unlike the
electronic models, I have more time with mine than the UPS drivers. The
reason there is an imbalance between supply and demand is that the deamd
is for things that do not exist or actually work, the magic carpets of
diving. There are no shortcuts and "there is nothing new under the sun".

If you really want to dive, get a Halcyon. If youi want to strut around
claiming "tech", call the usual suspects.
