On this one, you are right.  The bubbles probably do not cause the symptoms. 
However, they probably are largely responsible for causing the biochemistry
that causes the symptoms.  But I'm dealing with this topic one step at a
time - I'll get to the biochemistry issues nest year. Maybe if Steve 
Helps is out there somewhere, he can explain this part.
