Jeremy, the core configuration is exactly the same, and more importantly so is the philosophy and approach. Bottles and weighting differ to allow bailout in OW, and as always you should bring the right gases in the right amounts for a given dive. If you want to call that "a different configuration", then you're just going to confuse the people who will leap to the conclusion that they should therefore dive any way they feel like because there's not a "standard". That's crazy. I know you're just talking about the dry suit thing here, but take care not to overplay that into a "different config". You can't breathe water at 20' any better than at 200'.
