Well, the true story about this incident has finally come to light. It turns out that a bunch of canadians crept across the border late one night as stole a boat on US side. Their plan was to loot, pillage and rape a few wrecks in canadian waters, drop the good stuff off on the canadian side, then return the boat to the US side loaded with incriminating evidence. A few hosers would conveniently "happen across" this boat and call the mounties. This would ignite up an international incident which would bring in much needed revenue from the canadian government into the area. Seems that these central kanucks are jealous of their coastal cousins on the west side, who were raking in government dough from the fishing incidents between the US and canada. Personally, I am shocked at this sort of behavior. I mean, how low can you go? If you great lakes hosers need some federal money, why don't you hire Marion Berry as a consultant? He will have you rolling in gov. cheese in no time flat.
