When I said "balloon grade" what I actually meant was welding helium
which does NOT have O2 in it. In my small part of the world, all of the
balloon helium that I've seen has been welding helium.

This brings up an interesting point. I vaguely remember a post from
a few years back the possiblity of croaking by breathing a couple of
pure helium breathes of pure helium. Something to the effect that having
no O2 at all even for a short time was fatal. It was probably on
techdiver, this seems to be where a lot of these interesting urban
legends start. This was at about the same time that the theory of getting
torqued from using argon inflation was circulating. Do you remember any
of this?
