In one month I will be making a trip to = South America and Central America for a one month stay. I have been = debating on taking Malaria prevention drugs while there however, I also = plan to do several dives off the Bay Islands. I am avid about not = taking any medicines prior to diving and am a bit concerned about the = side affects of the various Malaria prevention drugs impairing my diving = and/or causing several dive related medical conditions. Does anyone = have any insight on this? Please let me know... I would much rather = take the Malaria prevention drugs than possibly risk getting Malaria, = but I need to know the pros and cons of this in relation to diving.
