Mr G Irivine I am not one of the so called specialists and "wundermen" like yourself. I have never met Brett Gillam and might never do. This man must be remarkable to control so many divers that was supposedly good divers. Every time someone dies, Brett Gilliam is personally responsible. As a NAUI Instructor, I also teach beginner scuba courses. One of the things we teach our students are that they make the final decision if they want to dive or not. Are they happy with the conditions, are they capable of the situation or not. It is THEIR decision. No instructor can or will force someone to dive. Now I don't know if Brett Gilliam has got such magical powers to take over all the TDI Instructors / Divers minds, but actually it sounds a bit far fetch. It looks much more if you have a personal vendetta against the man. It is not that you disagree with him and TDI, its blatently attacking the man personally. Can I please request you to try and be civilized in your approach to any other people on this group. You don't have to agree with anyone. But you can disagree in a civilized way. It is sad enough if a diver of fame (or any diver) dies. Don't make it even worse with your attitude. This is a direct request, not an attack.
