>From what I've been told: They were diving in the Montgri coast (Mediterranean sea), between l'Estartit and l'Escala about 100 Km North East from Barcelona. -The 3 french were not cave divers, just OW divers. -They didn't run any line from the cave entrance, and they were diving with just OW gear. -Depth was about 20m (65 fsw) -2 boddies were found by the rescue team at a distance of 40m (130') from the cave entrance, with nearly zero-visibility, one boddy was recovered yesterday, the 2nd boddy by the moment has not been recovered, the third diver is still missing. It's presumed that they got lost in a silt-out situation without any line layed from the entrance and they ran out of air. If I find out more info, I will post. -- Josep -- PHSHARKEY@ao*.co* wrote: > > Three French divers (Louis Fabrice, Hugues Magnaud, & Nelly Boudineau) died > when they got lost and ran out of air in a cave in Northeastern Spain.
