One question to you Jeremy: An O2 sensor does only one thing, it measures the content of 02 in a area that you are wanting to find out what the consentration is... for example a vent circuit, your mix in your tank, or the air that your breathing. So what different abilities are you talking about, please explain yourself.. The last time that I check, an 02 sensor only had one function, analize Fi02. >> >> >>At 09:45 AM 11/11/97 EST, Darren wrote: >>>I am getting ready to go dry caving in a few >>>day's and would like to use my 02 analyzer to >>>get 02 % in parts of the cave.My ? is how much >>>will the 100% humidity effect accuracy and if >>>there is a way to compensate. >>> >>> THANK YOU! Darren, Working with high humidities in my job and having to keep a close eye on 02, the only time that you will get a false reading is if you have humidity built up on the fuel cell itself. A question for you, why would you want to get 02 counts in a dry cave, would you be more intereted in Co2 build up?? I may be wrong in my thought process, but you will be breathing 21% Fi02 through out the whole cave, and if you were not, life would not go on... Just a though As Far as compensation, when you first turn the unit on, it does an auto cal to 21%. Some of the older units that I use does have a dial a brew, but you must have 21% and 100% Fi02 to do the callibration of the fuel cell, other wise, it is your best gess!!!
