Folks, a new regulator will be introduced a DEMA this year that consists
of a revolutionary new type of first stage that attaches to a scuba tank
as usual. A special proprietary transmitter attaches to the low pressure
port and delivers the contents of the scuba tank- without a hose- to the
second stage that is equipped with a proprietary gas receiver. Each
transmitter is set at a different frequency so that you cannot
inadvertently send your gas to your buddy who is using a similar device
and comes into range of yours. A spare second stage equipped with a
receiver can be carried in your BC pocket for redundancy or to give to
another diver in trouble for buddy breathing ( the in-trouble diver must
stay within 100 yards of your transmitter to receive your gas supply).  In
this way, you can stay far away from a panic stricken diver and yet supply
them with breathing gas. This system revolutionizes existing scuba systems
and makes issues he the long hose or short moot. It is made in France.
This is all I know but I will see it at DEMA.
