I just left the bottles in the cave for deco and this happened when I turned them on, and I found the fine grit inside the reg. Maybe the enviro kit would have prevetned this. You know, I just can't see grit getting around the diaphragm which is clamped. My guess is it would originate through the tank valve/reg o-ring which would get slack with no pressure on. In solution the grit may pass through the sintered filter. I'm still a fan of Poseidon. I Know they have changed the HP seat - the old ones had "FRONT" and the part no. embossed from the die they used so duffers like me couldn't put something else in the hole. New ones are plain vanilla and the quality control has gone on strike. What confounds me about your allegience to SCUBAPRO is that no one raises the problem of second stage leak associated with the seat taking a set. This is a real pain in the ass for us. We use the G200B/250 on our hookahs and I have 5 at home. I spend more time on replacing poppet seats than I ever do with our 30+ Poseidons and they arn't cheap.
