I had the same problem with my Poseidons. They were the best performing regs I ever had, wonderful at depyh, but the Intermdediate pressure has been the problem lately. I have checked the piston Part# 2820 and the Hp seat # 2803, the piston shows sign of wear, and the HP seat is changing color! From a solid brown is turning into a withish stressed plastic, like when you bend a piece of plastic and it trn white at that spot. Something is wrong with this materials. I have asked Poseidon Sweden about this, and their answer was that I am the only one complaing about this problem, and that it must be my fault, and that I should take a course with one of their instructors. I called and instructor, and he told me since I dive helium, it is the helium that ruins everything!!! I have got a new set of HP seats, they are made of a different materials, a kind of white plastic with a groove on one side, but I wonder if I should change the piston too. At the moment I am testing the new Mares Ruby, which has a real ruby as HP seat, I would also like to try the Apeks TD50, everybody that has one is happy about it. Comments?
