Fire swept through a high-pressure oxygen chamber at a hospital near Milan, Italy, on Friday, killing 11 people. A short circuit sparked an explosion in the chamber at Galeazzi Hospital in Bruzzano, a fire official said. Ten patients, assisted by a nurse, had been undergoing treatment in a sealed hyperbaric chamber when the fire cut off the oxygen supply, state television reported. All the victims were believed to have died from suffocation. Source: CNN -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
