I note with bemusement that George Irvine somehow wants to attribute my posting with Bret Gilliam. Well, your paranoia is showing once again, George. I'm actually a living, breathing engineer living in the Atlanta area who has observed the forum postings for some time while not wishing to participate in the sophomoric exchanges between Irvine and anyone else who was on his daily hate list. And thanks, but I'll pass on your invitation to "suck your dick" as you so masterly suggest. I'm sure there are plenty of your errant disciples who do that for you... regularly. (By the way, they have asked that you not hold their ears so tightly.) Although it has been my pleasure to meet Jim King and Jim Bowden several times at cave conferences, I have never met or spoken with Gilliam but I do enjoy his articles and books. I may have been premature on noting that Irvine and the WKPP have been pulled from Scubapro's Web site and for that I apologize. But I got my information directly for a source at Scubapro who confirmed that the company is cutting all ties to Irvine. So keep watching and I'm confident that you'll see my prophecy come true in the very near future. As always, the insipid and mostly illiterate Mr. Irvine fails to note that the real issue his critics have seized on is the obnoxiouis manner in which he conducts himself. It's not about deep air or any particular technique. It's about the fact that Irvine seems to think he has license to pillory, attack and condemn anyone who points out his obvious character deficiencies. As anyone knows who has followed the ravings of this maniac on the Internet, he is a complete and total basket case so intent on self-aggrandizment that he will trample over the bodies of other exploreres or divers who met with tradgedy. As near as I can see, Jim King, Bill Stone, Bret Gilliam, Jim Bowden, Joe Odom, Tom Mount and the others that Irvine so zealously attacks are guilty of simply pointing out that the guy is a closet homosexual with profound bad manners. And I think that Gilliam's article in Deep Tech was a brilliant send-up that effectively showcased Irvine for the world class asshole that he is. What's the matter George, can't you take it when someone gives you back what you have heaped on others for years? While King, Stone, Bowden and Gilliam are totally absent from any of the Internet crap, I felt like logging in finally to set forth my own opinion. And I got exactly the reaction that I expected. Irvine cannot even accept the fact that there might be anyone else out there in cyberspace who would like to tell him to stick it. For you readers around the world, if you haven't seen the Deep Tech article on George Irvine, go get it. It's priceless. It exposes the true underbelly of the man as he rants and raves at nearly everyone who ever dared go cave diving. The language is unbelievable and it's obvious why every manufacturer would never tolerate an association with him or any of his merry men. So keep it up, George. Keep blasting away. I understand that Scubapro has now designated someone to keep track of his postings and monitor his deviant activity on the Net. With every ranting message he digs his grave deeper with the world diving community. Nice going, butt head. I saw a message that comments on an all out effort by the British diving community to rescind an invitation offered to George to speak at a BSAC meeting in November. It seems taht guys like Gavin Neuman, Martynn Farr and Richard Bull have dropped Irvine's dossier on the BSAC officials and they want nothing to do with him. Personally, I hope he does go over there since it's unlikely he can escape with his head after the contemptible remarks made about fellow Brits like Rob Palmer and Rob Parker. So in the future George, if you want to take issue with my opinions, kindly direct them to me and please spell my name right. I'm a busy guy but I'll respond from time to time. Until then, keep bending over and taking the big one from the rest of your buddies. Any bets on how much longer George can keep his own job? I hear through the grapevine that Morgan Stanley is about ready to dump this Nazi. Seems that some of their clients didn't like George's comments about Jews and other profanity. But I guess that has already happened. As much as George craves attention, if he was burning in flames on the sidewalk, I doubt if anyone could even be bothered to piss on him.
