Dear Julian, You are mis-informed at best. The article you refer to can be found at http://www.nwdesigns.com/rebreathers/DeepCave.htm . The WKPP web site merely points to this article with a html link. The nwdesigns site is also interested in "Doing it Right" and has since altered their article to state: "The divers used air down to approximately 190 ft where they switched to the the bottom mix. (This is no longer the case, for safety. WKPP divers use air only above 130ft. TriMix is now used below 130ft.) The Halcyon has quick connect fittings which allow the divers to connect different gas mixes while under water." As the current WKPP webmaster I appreciate you bringing this point to my attention. Jeff Bentley (Out of curiosity... Why did you post this to the internet vs. contacting me or the WKPP directly? Now you appear to be an uninformed whiner...) > Here is an interesting little quote from the WKPP page at: > > http://www.wkpp.org > > "The rebreather also > proved highly beneficial during the decompression, allowing the team to > significantly reduce the volume of > decompression gas consumed.
