Errol, obviously they have really clamped down at TDI - they just mailed my my instructor cards - no questions asked. For my cards with Mount I had to bust my ass, and I am still not an IANTD instructor, but I am a Divemaster and A Dive Supervisor for Trimix, Nitrox, Cave, and Rebreather diving, which is exactly what my area of expertise is. I am sure Mount has a few bogies, and I can think of one or two right now, but then who's going to notice compared to TDI? Maybe Mount is just trying to save money on postage. - G Errol Kalayci wrote: > > Currently, in order to become a TDI Cave Instructor, you must first be > certified by either NSS-CDS or NACD at the instructor level. > > If you are already a TDI Instructor, you may cross over your certification > levels by either mailing or faxing us (with credit card number) the $25.00 > instructor upgrade fee and all certification certificates. > > Please note that this must be done before any cave certifications can be > processed at TDI Headquarters on your behalf. > > As seen at http://www.tdiusa.com/members/cavenews.html > > The only thing that does not amaze me, is that they take your $25 first. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
