Even so , a hyperbaric specialist at a local hospital ( Alfred Hospital in Melbourne ) mentioned to me that sports divers who have done approximately 2000 dives in 10 years should have a long bone scan performed as a base line to detect any deleterious effects that may "rear their ugly heads" in later years .
