William, How many do you know, 20 or 30? I doubt you know 1% of the home mixers. Spare me the "all home mixers have analysers" crap. > I find it intersting that you > are willing to accept without question that there is a big difference in > med O2 versus welding ( of course another sweeping statement of what gas > WE ALL use), aren't you just trusting your gas supplier as to whats > really in the bottle, was it really emptied before it was filled( as you > know thats the biggest difference with many suppliers). You are correct that the only difference between those two grades generally is that medical Oxygen cylinders are emptied and have a vacuum drawn on them to remove contaminants. This is done so when one of you "home brew wizards" puts an air top on a "k" cylinder of Oxygen to make EAN 80 for surface supplied deco gas, and then returns the cylinder without emptying it, The next person doesn't get stuck with less 100% Oxygen. > Ted along with all your sweeping statements can you tell me all dive > shop blenders are qualified? No. > Do they all filter properly, No. > and o yeah > about O2 cleanning again. I would rather mix my own gas, i know what i'm > breathing, i test it and i know what it's limits are. > I also drive my own car, boat( master 50 ton), I can't believe you went and got a 50 ton master's licence. After all, everybody knows that that's an other needless goverment regulation just like medical Oxygen. And everybody knows that the license is no reflection of you're ability to run a boat. Did you take the mail order correspondence course to pass the written only test? I can just see you now, standing at the helm telling your customers how you need a captain's licence to operate a vessel for hire. Spare me captain hypocrite! > do home repairs, work on > my dive gear and sometimes (are you ready for this) dive without a > buddy.
