I use Gas Permeable Contact lenses and do not dive in them prefering to use a
prescrition lens mask .  I don't dive in them for two reasons :-
1. Possibility of loosing one - with them being so much smaller than the
disposable/soft ones the risk is higher, in fact I have had a lens shift just
with blinking while driving.

2. Stories of Gas Perm lenses "clouding/misting up" during ascent especially
during a deco dive due to slower gas release rate etc. On this note one of our
club members does dive in gas perms and does do deco stops - she says that she
has had lenses mist on her occasionally, but it seems to wear off within a half
an hour or so.
