It would be great if you summarized the information you got and posted
on a newsgroup somewhere, so that in the future, search engines will be
able to direct interested people to it. Be sure to include references
and phone numbers too...

It beats the hell out of me why someone should want to know about this,
but here it goes.

I asked:

>A couple of months ago I underwent myopia (shortsightedness) surgery. =
There

you for
>asking. Does anyone know (guessing not allowed) if I should refrain =
from diving?=20

Dr. Chris Edge answered:

>You should refrain from diving until the surgery has healed and your

be
>no problems with the glaucoma surgery and diving. You should take care
>not to get any eye infections. You should also take advice in case you
>are taking any medication that may interfere with your diving.

Juha Rajaste, from Finland, tried to make a guinea pig out of me: :)

Al Marvelli went the DAN way:

Alan Chapman recommended that I get in touch with Pete Heseltine:

	heseltin@hs*.us*.ed*

This about covers it. Oh, yeah, for whom it may concern, last Sunday I =
went
diving for the first time in way too many months. This whole thing got =
me
spooked, so I only did a sissy dive. My eyes got a little red, but that =
may
have been irritation from the saltwater. I can still see a little, =
though. :)

Thanks again to everyone who went to the trouble of responding.

Dive nice,
